イエス様の御心は無限大

皆さん、お元気ですか。皆さんの応援と祈りのおかげで、私は元気に過ごしています。一日があっという間に終わり驚いています。

さて、今日は、イエス様の御心の祝日です。イエスの御心は、人間に対する神様の愛の象徴です。 聖書では、ゴルゴダの丘で、兵士の一人が槍でイエス様の脇腹を刺した時、溢れるように水と血が流れ出たと伝えられています。私はイエス様から流れ出た血は、死の血であると同時に、命の血でもあったのではないかと思います。 命の血とは、罪を犯して死んだ人々に、再び命を与えるために、イエス様が流した血のことです。キリストの血のおかげで、罪のために死んだ人間は贖われ、生き返ることができるのです。それこそがイエス様が導いてくださる永遠の命と愛です。

今日の祭日を振り返る時、2017年6月の助祭叙階式のことを思い出しました。あの時、私はレダレロでの助祭叙階式に父と母を呼びませんでした。アタンブアから遠いという理由もありましたが私は自分が生まれて育ったアタンブアで行われる2017年10月の私の司祭叙階式に出て欲しいと心から思ったからです。私は一人で助祭叙階式に出ました。少し寂しい気がしましたが、父と母が心の中で誰よりも喜んで祝ってくれていることを感じることができました。父と母はいつも私の為に祈り、私の決断を支えてくれました。私はいつも両親の愛を感じて生きていることも神様の恵みだと思います。

イエス様の御心はとても誠実で、純粋です。いつも私達の罪を赦し、愛してくださいます。 イエス様の御心、愛は海のように広く深く、私達の理解の限界を超えた愛です。イエス様はこの無限の愛の有り難さを、両親の愛を通して私に教えてくれました。皆さんは、イエス様の無限の愛を感じて生きていますか。イエス様からの御恵みをしっかり受けとめていますか。どうぞ、イエス様の愛を、改めて感じとっていただきたいと思います。

THE INFINITE HEART AND LOVE OF JESUS 

Dear brother, how are you? Thank you for your support and prayers, I am doing well. I was surprised at how fast the day passed. 

Well, today is the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Heart of Jesus is a symbol of God's love towards us. The Gospel tells us that when one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear at the top of Golgotha hill, water and blood poured out. I believe that the blood that flowed from Jesus was the blood of death and the blood of life. The lifeblood that Jesus shed gives new hope to us sinners. Because of the blood of Christ, we who are dead in sin can be redeemed and brought back to life. Because God's love for us never ends.

God's infinite love in this feast of the Heart of Jesus reminds me of my deacon ordination preparation in June 2017. I invited my mum and dad at that time, but we agreed that they should not participate in the deacon's ordination in Ledalero-Maumere-Flores. Not only because it was far from Atambua-Timor, but also because I really wanted them to stay healthy and focused for my priestly ordination in October 2017 in Nenuk-Atambua. However, some of my family from Timor as well as my acquaintances in Flores represented my mum and dad at my deacon's ordination. At first, I felt lonely, but when I saw the other family members, I sensed that my mum and dad loved and supported me very much and surely, they celebrated more happily than anyone else in my heart. I think this was a gift from God because I always felt my parents' love. The love of my parents represents God's love for me in every journey of my life.

Jesus' heart is sincere and pure. God always forgives our sins and loves us. Jesus' heart and love are as wide and deep as the ocean and are a love beyond our understanding. Jesus taught me the value of infinite love through the love of my parents. Are you living your life feeling the infinite love of Jesus? Are you fully receiving Jesus' blessings? I hope you will continue to feel God's love in your life every day.
